I joined Caroline's Yoga class around 18 years ago, having been recommended to her by another yoga teacher in a different area. I have always found her classes to be excellent .
Caroline is extremely professional and a first class teacher. I am pleased to say that attending her weekly classes is a joy for me. I feel very flexible and toned thanks to my yoga. I have been enjoying classes using Zoom since Covid. This works well thanks to Caroline's clear instructions /explanations. Yoga is a wonderful discipline for mind and body and I cannot recommend Caroline highly enough.

I first started practising yoga to manage my stress/ anxiety levels and for the past 18+ years have also gained the added benefit of Caroline’s teaching, both face to face and on-line, to maintain flexibility and energy for other life activities such as long walks and gardening.
Caroline is always well prepared; while focussing on the development of specific skills over time she offers appropriate demonstrations and alternatives to support individuals needs.
Thank you Caroline.

Caroline inspires me with confidence through her calm presence online & her careful, steady yoga practice for people like me who live with osteoporosis. My core strength has developed & my improved balance enables me to live life to the full. Caroline’s class is such an important part of my life and has had a positive impact on my health and well-being.

Dear Caroline , THANK YOU! You always seem to know and tailor classes to whatever has been bothering me! You have certainly kept me going over the last couple of years and I really notice when I miss a week. Wonderful, uplifting and I now find a quite spiritual experience. Thank you.

I have been attending Caroline’s on-line classes for approximately 2 years and look forward each week to her class. I have Osteoporosis and Caroline’s classes are targeted at building strength to support the body’s joints whilst at the same time teaching us about correct posture, alignment and how to move safely. She also works on flexibility and balance in a very safe way so as not to stress the joints. I used to suffer from Sciatic pain on a regular basis but since undertaking Caroline’s classes I have not had a major flare up. I feel I have gained strength and stamina as well as more confidence in myself and the general daily activities I undertake.
Caroline’s teaching is excellent; she is so clear in both her instructions and demonstrations. She explains how to adapt postures to make them either more challenging or less demanding so each week we can work to the level we feel is most suitable. Caroline always offers extra support and guidance as and when required.
Each week, I feel the lesson ends too quickly, I never want it to end! Caroline teaches in such a holistic manner, she inspires me and not only do I feel I have benefitted physically but emotionally and spiritually too. Thank You Caroline.

No, everyone can practise yoga regardless of individual levels of flexibility and strength. The weekly practices will develop and enhance these qualities in careful steps with time and opportunities to reflect on progress..
Each practice is designed to match each person's individual needs, modifying and adapting the movements, breathe work and meditation.
Age is not a barrier to practising yoga, either as a beginner or a continuer. The use of chairs, blocks, rolls, towels etc. are advised to ease learners into the practice whether they are 18 or 80. All are welcome!
For those with osteoporosis or low bone density, bone forming proteins become activated after holding a posture for 10 seconds, however, it is recommended that specific postures should be held for up to 30 seconds, regularly.
